Introduction


Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, the Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: identifying market problems and definitions, educating staff and teams on learnings, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. A key in this role is having curiosity, a desire to tackle complicated problems, uncover issues, and make recommendations based on your findings.

Position Overview


  • Market Problem Identification: Lead efforts to identify and focus on the right market problems to solve. Additionally capture those details to help educate teams and staff
  • Market Definition: Assist with market definition efforts and help educate teams and staff on learnings
  • Requirements: Act as the subject matter expert within the shared services domain, validating that requirements meet the needs of the target consumers
  • Priorities: Work with Product and Development heads to capture and prioritize initiatives
  • Roadmap: Work with Product and Development heads to articulate a product roadmap 
  • Use Cases / User Stories: Lead efforts in articulating specifically how solutions should solve problems for target markets
  • Product Development Lifecycle: Manage and facilitate all the activities of the Product Development Life Cycle


Company


  • 3+ years of product experience (with customer-facing applications)
  • BA/BS degree OR equivalent work experience 
  • Experience in Agile project management framework
  • Ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Highly organized and able to drive results through prioritization and translation of the big-picture 
  • Strong entrepreneurial and ownership spirit
  • Empathy for customer feedback, while understanding the importance of a long-term product vision
  • Ability to be flexible and manage change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high level critical listening 
  • Strong analytical skills


ADDED ASSET (aka PREFERRED SKILLS)


  • Product Certifications (e.g. CSPO, Pragmatic Marketing, etc . . .)
  • Previous experience with SaaS solutions
  • Previous experience with integrated services (e.g. Payment Processing, Geographic Information System)
  • Experience with Salesforce platform
