Senior Marketing Manager

Introduction

As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be Clariti’s marketing leader - responsible for defining and implementing our marketing and growth programs. You will be able to roll up your sleeves to get started and will have the resources to build a team, internally and externally, to help you execute on the strategy you develop. You will develop the marketing function with best practices from past experience to ensure that we build for scale as our business grows.


You will work directly with our Co-CEOs and take full ownership of managing our online presence, customer acquisition programs and lead generation campaigns. To be successful, you will already have experience building and running personalized inbound/outbound marketing campaigns to drive consistent sales revenue growth.

Position

As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be Clariti’s marketing leader - responsible for defining and implementing our marketing and growth programs. You will be able to roll up your sleeves to get started and will have the resources to build a team, internally and externally, to help you execute on the strategy you develop. You will develop the marketing function with best practices from past experience to ensure that we build for scale as our business grows.


You will work directly with our Co-CEOs and take full ownership of managing our online presence, customer acquisition programs and lead generation campaigns. To be successful, you will already have experience building and running personalized inbound/outbound marketing campaigns to drive consistent sales revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:


  • Drive the evolution of our brand positioning, bringing it to life in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates our target audiences. You will promote the company as an innovator to the press and public and oversee outbound customer-facing communications across our website, blog, and social channels.
  • Work well cross-functionally with sales to create lead-generation campaigns to prospect and build new business. You’ll partner with Clariti leadership to create new growth strategies across product, marketing, sales, customer success and development.
  • Constantly finding ways to make it easier for our prospects and buyers to move ahead in the funnel, make decisions, provide us with information that allows us to better support them and drive conversions. You develop all the nurture campaigns (onboarding, loyalty, upsell) to maximize customer engagement and reduce churn.
  • Collaborate and lead across the organization. You will represent the voice of the customer within the organization, bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders across product, sales, customer success, development, and executive leadership. You will also lead and mentor a growing team of marketers across a broad set of functions including product marketing, partner marketing, content and brand.
  • Deepen relationships with key partners. You will nurture existing relationships with key partners, aligning on mutual goals and driving adoption through a variety of co-marketing efforts.
  • Lead the marketing department. Identify talent needs, hire and manage a high-performing integrated marketing team.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree - all majors considered, advanced degrees welcomed
  • 3 - 7 years of marketing experience in either SaaS, B2B or public sector environment 
  • Experience with tools in the MarTech “stack” (testing, data analytics, dashboards, web development, marketing automation)
  • Experience and credibility in many of the following: demand generation, conversion rate optimization, email marketing, inbound marketing, and content marketing. You've contributed to the building of a new market.
  • You are familiar with marketing at the 'nail it and scale it' stage; you can identify what 'good' looks like and set real metrics. 
  • “A/B tester”, results-oriented
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Effective problem solving, time management, and organization skills - works well under pressure
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity and a competitive spirit
  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for SaaS platforms, including targeted paid advertising, online and offline events, and content marketing (white papers, case studies, and blogging etc.);
  • You are a self-starter, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your work;
  • Strong analytical and writing skills. You are comfortable with data and analytics, and you can clearly communicate your results and ideas.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to own and see tasks through to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail
  • Effective problem solving, time management, and organization skills - works well under pressure
  • You're an avid reader of resources. You collect ideas -- both grand and granular – to fuel the funnel.
  • Experience with Hubspot and Salesforce is a plus
